Hi there. It's Dave. Most of the time I'll be the one posting, though occasionally Julie may write something to share. You'll probably be able to easily tell the difference -- my posts usually have some poor attempt at humor and wit that turns out to be blatant sarcasm and insanity, while Julie's posts... well, I'm not going to describe her posts. See for yourself.
Julie and I are starting our vacation on July 9th, 2008. We'll stay at a hotel at the DFW airport so we can get up nice and early to fly to England (via Chicago) on the 10th, where we'll stay until our cruise departs on the 13th. From there, we go to Copenhagen, Warnemunde (Berlin), Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, and Amsterdam. Though the cruise continues from Amsterdam back to England, we'll be leaving the ship in Amsterdam where we'll stay the night before heading by train down to Paris. After 3 days in Paris, we'll hop a flight home to Dallas on the 28th of July.
During the trip, I'm hoping to be able to send brief updates from my Crackberry... That's the whole reason I set this blog up. We'll also occasionally post some normal posts -- with photos! -- during the trip itself. I'm planning to buy a package that gives us a very limited number of internet minutes during the cruise, at a very slow speed, so the photos will be limited. But we'll do our best.
